Martin Hägglund

Martin Hägglund is a Junior Fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows.  His most recent book is Radical Atheism: Derrida and the TIme of Life (Stanford UP 2008), which is the subject of a special issue of CR: The New Centennial Review (Spring 2009).  He is currently completing a book entitled Chronolibidinal Reading: Proust, Woolf, Nabokov.  He is also at work on a sequel to Radical Atheism, which turns from a critique of transcendence to a critique of immanence, by engaging Bergson and Deleuze concerning fundamental questions of time, life, and desire.  The third book in a planned trilogy will address Heidegger on the same issues and articulate a systematic alternative to both philosophies of transcendence and immanence.
